This policy describes how AltShift ('the Platform') collects, uses, and protects information.

1. Facebook Login

Our platform uses 'Continue with Facebook' to let page owners, Instagram business accounts, and WhatsApp Business numbers connect their assets to our platform directly and securely. During login, we request limited permissions (a Page Access Token) to access only the page/account the user explicitly selects — we do not access any other data from their personal Facebook account.

2. Information We Collect

• Basic name and contact information (name, page/account ID) of the page owner at login
• The content of messages exchanged between the page/account and its customers via Messenger, Instagram Direct, and WhatsApp — collected to power the automated reply service and generate analytics/reports for the page owner
• General platform usage information

3. How We Use Information

• Providing and improving the automated chatbot service
• Communicating with subscribed page owners
• Analyzing conversation patterns to generate sales and performance reports for the page owner

4. Data Protection

We use appropriate security measures (encrypted connections, secure storage of access tokens) to protect your information from unauthorized access. We do not sell or share conversation data with any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Meta Platforms

Our service uses Meta's APIs (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) to access pages and reply to messages on behalf of their owners, with their explicit consent. This use is also subject to Meta's own developer platform policies and terms.

6. Data Deletion

Any user may request deletion of their stored data at any time. For details on how to submit a request, see our Data Deletion page.
